Sheikh Khaled gives the green light to a new policy against child abuse and neglect to ensure children’s safety.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has taken a significant step in combatting abuse and neglect by approving a new childhood protection policy. The aim of this strategy is to provide support to families and caregivers, enabling them to create a safe environment for children and protect them from both physical and psychological abuse.

During the Executive Council meeting held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, Sheikh Khaled, who also serves as the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, gave his approval to this policy. He emphasized the importance of supporting and caring for the early childhood system, including the implementation of educational programs that educate families and parents about potential physical, psychological, and social risks that children may face.

Another crucial aspect highlighted by Sheikh Khaled is the need to engage children in activities and programs that enhance their personality and equip them with essential skills to handle diverse situations effectively. By investing in the early childhood sector, Sheikh Khaled believes it is possible to protect children’s rights, ensure their safety, and provide a secure environment for their upbringing.

The Executive Council meeting also witnessed the announcement of the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre. This new center, affiliated with the departments of municipalities and transport, aims to streamline real estate services and simplify procedures under one entity. Its primary objective is to enhance the efficiency of real estate regulation within the emirate.

Responsibilities of the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre include developing strategic plans to regulate and stimulate growth in the real estate sector, overseeing real estate development projects, monitoring project performance, launching new real estate destinations, and providing support to encourage investment in the sector.

With these strategic initiatives and policies, Abu Dhabi is taking significant steps towards ensuring the protection of children and the advancement of its real estate sector. These efforts underline the commitment of the government to create a safe and secure environment for the emirate’s population.
