News: Leading Abu Dhabi healthcare group expands its presence with the launch of 4 new centres in Saudi Arabia.

Burjeel Holdings, the leading healthcare services provider, has announced the launch of four premier physiotherapy centres in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In a partnership with Leejam Sports Company, the largest fitness centre chain in the MENA region, Burjeel has established a network of advanced physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness centres under the name PhysioTherabia. This joint venture aims to introduce a unique gym-based model for high-quality physiotherapy services throughout Saudi Arabia.

The first four centres, namely Olaya View Fitness Time, Al Munsiyah Men’s Gym, Al Munsiyah Ladies Gym, and Al Taawon Men’s Gym, are part of a larger plan to establish 60 such facilities within and outside Leejam Sports’ gyms across the kingdom. Of the 60 centres, 16 will be launched soon, with 10 in Riyadh, two in Jeddah, and one each in Dammam, Al Khobar, the northern region, and the southern region. By 2027, the PhysioTherabia network is expected to generate at least Dh600 million in revenue for Burjeel Holdings.

PhysioTherabia aims to redefine the industry and contribute to a healthier future by offering advanced physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness services. Al Ashry also highlighted that the launch of new centres aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve public health, prevent diseases, and transform the healthcare sector. By establishing centres in the kingdom, Burjeel Holdings hopes to support Saudi Arabia in becoming a global hub for sports and healthcare.

The PhysioTherabia centres will provide personalized physical therapy, advanced rehabilitation, and sports performance programs. They will offer a wide range of specialized services, including musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation with robotics, paediatric rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, spinal and back rehabilitation, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The goal is to promote optimal physical well-being and recovery for patients of all ages.

Ahead of the launch, Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, founder and chairman of Burjeel Holdings, along with other senior officials, met with Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Riyadh region, to discuss the high-quality services and cutting-edge medical equipment that the centres will provide.

PhysioTherabia’s new rehabilitation technologies, including iMoove, Gait analysis, and Lokomat, will offer impactful solutions for patients suffering from conditions such as strokes, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. These technologies aim to improve their quality of life and promote independence.
