Registered participants can earn volunteering hours and online certificates for their engagement in the third edition of Aster Volunteers’ ‘Heart2Heart Cares 2023’ CSR initiative. This initiative by Aster DM Healthcare aims to encourage people to walk for their heart health and also support underprivileged children in need of heart surgery.
Participants can engage in various fitness programs, including walking 10,000 steps, cycling 10 km in 90 minutes, and burning 400 calories in 90 minutes as part of the month-long Heart to Heart Cares campaign.
The previous editions of ‘Heart2Heart Cares’ saw significant participation from India and GCC, with over 8,750 participants, 331 million eligible steps, and a total contribution of Rs4.05 million. This year, the initiative aims to save the lives of 50 underprivileged children through heart surgery.
To contribute, participants need to register at heart2heart.astervolunteers.com, record their steps on their gadgets/smartphones, and upload their step count on timetrack.astervolunteers.com. This process allows registered participants to earn volunteering hours and online certificates.
The first 2,000 registrations from October 15 to October 25, 2023, will enter a raffle draw. Twenty lucky participants in the UAE will receive exciting gifts during the closing event on October 29, 2023, at Zabeel Park.
Additionally, there will be special prizes for participants in the male and female categories who complete the highest eligible steps on October 29, 2023. Team Aster Volunteers will also organize entertainment activities and performances to highlight the importance of healthy living.
