DIFC to Kick off Fintech World Cup at SFF 2023 With Pitch Competition

Global fintech startups looking to secure funding can now participate in the Fintech World Cup (FWC), being organized by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The registration is currently open for an initial pitch competition taking place tomorrow (17 November) at the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) from 3.00 pm-4.30 pm at DIFC’s booth (6B25). In addition to the SFF event, regional qualifying competitions will be held across ten major business hubs in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to select the most promising startups as finalists.
This global competition is part of the larger Dubai Fintech Summit and aims to identify and support innovative startups in the fintech sector. Qualifying finalists in Dubai have the chance to secure up to US$1 million in funding. The grand finale will take place at the Dubai Fintech Summit organized by DIFC on 6-7 May 2024.
The regional winners will not only compete for substantial investment, but will also receive mentorship from industry experts, engage with venture capitalists, and gain insights from community leaders. They will also be provided with exhibition spaces at the subsequent Dubai Fintech Summit, expected to attract more than 8,000 attendees and over 150 speakers from around the world.
